Long story short: For as long as I live near this shop, I won't be taking my car anywhere else. I went in to fix a tire and get a full inspection. It was easy to schedule an appointment online. Drop off was super quick and painless. Once they completed my inspection, I got a text with a link to a document that had images, videos and explanations of every part of the inspection (all with helpful arrows and circles. I'm not being sarcastic it was great lol). The doc listed concerns they ran into as well as recs based on how urgent the concern was. They noted several things that shops I've been to in the past few months said they inspected and should have caught but didn't. (Lookin' at you Speed Auto Repair.) While there was unexpected work I needed, I felt comfortable getting it done because they were so transparent. They also didn't push when it came to things I can do myself, like replacing air filters and tag lights. As we were discussing the work I needed, they were upfront about prices and the numbers they quoted me were very accurate to the final bill. Also, the final bill had a great breakdown of all of the prices and I was able to check online if they were fair. They were! Yay! And customers get a free roadside service for a year after getting work done at the shop. Details are on the final invoice ;) The only "bad" part: It took three-ish days to get the work done. I didn't find to be an issue as they were upfront about it. I'd much rather wait a few days and know that my car is going to be safer and well taken care of rather than be pushed through a shop in an hour. The final and most important (to me) thing: As a young woman, I *expect* to be taken advantage of at car shops, so I deeply appreciated that I could send the inspection doc to trusted friends and family (who know more about cars than I do!) for their review. In car shops and auto parts stores, I've frequently been hit on, groped, or treated like the world's stupidest moron. Here, everyone I spoke to was like talking to an uncle or cousin. I can't express how good it feels to walk into a store where you're expecting to be treated poorly and scammed and NOT have that happen. It seems silly but I felt so respected by these guys.
