Scammers - They will recommend and push extra unnecessary repairs to line their pockets. Tried to say that it was $3300 to repair my AC, so I went to another mechanic down the street and got the exact same job done for $800, and my AC works better than ever now - 2 stars bc they seemed knowledgeable but please be very very careful with what you agree to if you use this place
Sean, we are sorry you feel like we were trying to “scam” you. Our average of 4.8 stars with 600+ Google reviews over the past 12 years accurately reflects our honesty, integrity, and good work. Our quote included a few more services that were necessary for your vehicle that included a warranty. Our price to replace your A/C Compressor, Receiver/Dryer, and A/C Expansion Valve, this also included an A/C system Flush (which would clear remaining system components of debris/oil/dye) and an Evacuate and Recharge of your A/C system. If you notice on the estimate we provided you – there is only one big part charge and that was for the kit that included the compressor, receiver/dryer, and expansion valve. The parts companies and parts manufacturers sell these parts as a kit – because they recommend that these parts always be replaced at the same time. Based on the 150+ years of experience of the people in my shop – we always recommend replacing these parts together. Not only do the parts companies recommend this – they require that these parts be replaced together, or they will not provide a warranty. We include a 3-year warranty with our repairs, and we couldn’t do that if we only did partial repairs. Some shops are willing to provide partial repairs because they don’t offer the warranty we do. Your A/C system may be blowing ice cold air right now and I hope that lasts for as long as you own the car. Given our warranty – we cannot risk partial system repairs.
